Before
After
The Laundry renovation took about a week. We had to pull the old lino out, and the old floorin boards. We removed the old wall tile and trough, and the old storage cupboard.
In its place, we painted the walls Dulux Antique white, and the skirtings and window sills in high gloss enamel. A brand new trough was installed which we got on ebay, and is nice an modern, then a new storage cupboard was bought from Bunnings. The floor tiles match the new toilet, all up costing $90 for 400x400 large tiles enough to cover 6m2, so its a good idea to look at tile places specials or leftovers for bargain tiles. The wall tiles were much more expensive with the stone look from the toilet continued, we choose a gloosy tile to be on the back wall as we were tired of previous laundries we had, which had the normal painted walls, having a laundry film/layer left on it from the dryer fluff, therefore fingers crossed it will be much more cleaner friendly. New taps were installed over the sink, unfortunately I wasn't able to change the tap over to a single mixer tap sprayer, so that we could use it as a dog wash shower as well.
