Before
After
The Laundry renovation took about a week. We had to pull the old lino out, and the old floorin boards. We removed the old wall tile and trough, and the old storage cupboard.
In its place, we painted the walls Dulux Antique white, and the skirtings and window sills in high gloss enamel. A brand new trough was installed which we got on ebay, and is nice an modern, then a new storage cupboard was bought from Bunnings. The floor tiles match the new toilet, all up costing $90 for 400x400 large tiles enough to cover 6m2, so its a good idea to look at tile places specials or leftovers for bargain tiles. The wall tiles were much more expensive with the stone look from the toilet continued, we choose a gloosy tile to be on the back wall as we were tired of previous laundries we had, which had the normal painted walls, having a laundry film/layer left on it from the dryer fluff, therefore fingers crossed it will be much more cleaner friendly. New taps were installed over the sink, unfortunately I wasn't able to change the tap over to a single mixer tap sprayer, so that we could use it as a dog wash shower as well.

Before and After Toilet Renovation

Before

After
We had to completely rip the old toilet out, as well as left the old yukky yellow lino. The walls were painted Dulux Antique White, and the brown skirtings were painted high gloss white enamel. A new caroma toilet was installed which we got on special at Mitre 10. One the plumbing was all connected, we had our dual flush water saving toilet up and running! This took about a week from laying the tiles, painting the walls, installing the toilet.
At the moment we are renovating a house we just bought, its fun thinking of the new ideas and putting things in the house "we" want rather than what someone else has decided. We have also learnt to get great deals for great stuff!
Anyway it was my daughters 6th birthday, so I decided the back room downstairs facing the pool would be a great playroom. The room was a normal aged drab bedroom with outdated paint color and horrible dirty carpet.
I decided to have a theme of fairys, so off I began to paint a mural on wall ( not in anyway artistic, but hey what could be worse than how it started)
The walls were firstly painted in Dulux Antique White, the stained wood skirtings and window trims were painted high gloss white, the carpet was removed, and sanded, we still are deciding on a stain. It took 2 weeks to paint the mural, a few hours each night.
Resene Paint was used for the mural, with magnetic paint, an idea I got from a talented lady in NZ. So off I began painting this mural. The magnetic paint was painted first, then the coloring in began.
The Play Room

Well its taken me a while, but I am in week 1 of being back in charge of my body.
I don't know whats changed or really what the motivation has been, I guess when the brain says it ready then you have to go with it. The frustrating bit is how do you get the mind to focus permanently.
The past few Months
Basically in the Weight loss department I have been a fully fledged ( is that a word?) YOYO
I guess I have to be grateful I didnt put the 15 kg I lost back on, but the extra 5 kg that added up to 20kg seemed to come and go each month. I suppose thats a round about way of maintaining lol.
What a difference just 5kg makes! The pics below are of me at just a 5kg difference, its good to have pics as a reminder that even just a few kilos make a big difference to how you look
Work Wise
I have had a lot on my mind throughout the latter half of last year and beginning of this year, Th Not only that I have had to work close to full time with nursing which is not a walk in the park physically or mentally.
Its time to get to goal!
Well its the first week completed of my back on track campaign! Easter is over, and one day before the official weekly weigh in I have lost 2.7 kg
Eating Plan.
I am back to tracking, and have found out that artificial sweetners e.g. coke zero give me serious upper left abdo pain, the pain seems to concentrate on the lower left rib cage area, and I found out that as soon as I drink the stuff I get these pains for a few days.. bummer that was my main source of fluids other than water.
Exercise
Although i practically have a home gym, none of the equipment seemed to motivate me, so i decided to buy the Billy Blanks Taebo DVD, well it has been just what I needed, something different, funky, and a massive fat burn, but do I feel good. I think this has accounted for my big weight loss this week.
Goals
My first mini goal is to reach 85kg! My goal weight is still 69kg.
I really would like to get to 79kg by my daughters 5th birthday, I just don't want her to have fat mum photos in her history book. Im sure she ll have a loss of memory before the age of 4 of having a fat mum lol, so I better get my body in shape before she holds on to the memories ( I know stupid aye)
Anyway I ll see you all soon a little skinnier than now, in the meantime i ll upload some recent phots from abfab!

next goal by end of May to reach 85.6kg and the 20kg loss mark

I think I can see a difference. Yay! This is week 14 since i started on Jan 16th 2006. This achievement is dedicated to mum and dad because they are the best : )The differences that I feel at the moment. I am starting to see the double chins dissapear, and I can actually see a figure emerging...my jeans are loose and I can take them off with out unzipping them now, but I refuse to buy another pair until my next goal. Clothes that I wore 7 years ago and that I have kept in the cupboard are fitting. Soon Ill be able to get rid of them as Ill be too skinny for then, not to fat. I am a lot fitter, and can walk up to 12km during a day now. My eating has changed a lot, and dont eat for the sake of it, I eat because I need it. Other people are starting to comment now, which means I actually do look different...still heaps to go! see you in 5kg time!

I kinda look preggie lol
I reached my goal of 10% loss and have actually decided to dedicate this one to myself, as it has been a commitment for me that has taken years to get to. Finally I am in the right mind set and can see a different future for myself. By not stressing myself out by the rediculous amount I have to lose, I focus on it in small steps, as to where I will be soon, rather than never there at all if I didnt try. So I am firstly doing this for myself : ) love you all though and thanks for your support xxx
